Our blog is updated frequently with new website tips, ideas and help for small business owners
To make it easier for you, we have made an example site to give you an idea of what you can get for £250.
Below are some of the more recent work. You may also want to see our search engine optimisation portfolio
Please note that as the majority of these are not under my control at all any more (as I do not host them all), some may go "down". Also the users of these sites may have modified them since I did the work for them.
Wii Ratings is a video game fansite for everything for the Nintendo Wii.
Wii Ratings required work to be started on from scratch. It runs from a MySQL database, that has an admin backend so it is easy to add new content. Its main purpose was to provide an easy to update (for the site owners) and easy to read (for the readers) site for upto date news and reviews about the Nintendo Wii.
There are several sections to the site, including News, Previews and Reviews, Cheats, Wii game release dates, and a forum.
The site is coded in PHP and the uses a CSS based design (no tables for design), and runs very well and has a very nice look and feel to it. It also has very good natural search engine result positions, just with "on site SEO".
This site is not live yet. They required a simple site with just six sections (including a contact us/feedback form). This was designed from scratch.
This site needed recoding. All of the design was redone, and it is now valid XHTML 1.0.
Techneek is a computer hardware news and review site. Please note that as of 27th Jan 2007 it isn't being updated any more
Techneek needed two main sections - news and reviews. We also created a very nice and easy to use admin backend so the writers and editors could easily write news in a "WYSIWYG" input interface.
All pages are optimised for search engines, including features such as search engine friendly urls
The Evangeline Lilly fansite was created for a client who wanted to have an easy to use and update site that they could update and make into a really good resource for Evangeline Lilly (star from the "Lost" tv series).
The client for Uniforums.ca required a new custom skin (or "template") for the MyBB forum software. A few other mods were made to the software as well, including putting in search engine friendly URLs for the forum threads and posts.
