Our blog is updated frequently with new website tips, ideas and help for small business owners
To make it easier for you, we have made an example site to give you an idea of what you can get for £250.
A lot of money is to be made on the internet if you know what people are searching for, and if you can create content relating to their needs (and then sell products/show adverts). The trouble is by the time you find out that something is popular, the market is too saturated. However there are some tools that provide almost real time stats relating to popular searches, and they can give you a good advantage.
This can show you the "hottest" searches for different days. They tend to be the most popular new searches, not just the most popular searches (and this is more handy, otherwise every day "credit report", "porn" and so on would always be there.

Again similar to the AOL Hot Searches, but this obviously has a huge bias towards products that can be bought. My favourite one is the pop, but it isn't always too helpful

This has an obvious bias towards news related events, but if you're fast enough you can take advantage of a huge event and get lots of traffic. However it is very likely to drop very quickly after a few days

You guessed it - a bias towards books. And I can see Harry Potter staying up there for a long time...!

This is a really helpful resource, showing the top 50 for the last week (and showing if things are getting more popular or not)

This is a lot more general entertainment orientated, but it comes from Yahoo and they have some serious data behind them to provide these figures.

A very nice list. Wish there was enough time in the day to generate content about each of these, every day... ;)
